God saves because He loves. Not of human worth or works!

The LORD did not set his heart on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other nations, for you were the smallest of all nations! Rather, it was simply that the LORD loves you, and He was keeping the oath He had sworn to your ancestors. That is why the LORD rescued you with such a strong hand from your slavery and from the oppressive hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes His unfailing love on those who love Him and obey His commands. — Deut. 7:7-9

The Lord found [Jacob] in a desolate land, in an empty wasteland where animals howl. He continually guarded him and taught him; He continually protected him like the pupil of His eye. Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, so the Lord spread out His wings and took him, He lifted him up on His pinions. The Lord alone was guiding him. — Deut. 32:10-12

The Lord will continually lead you; He will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water. — Isa. 58:11

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. — Jn. 15:16
