A new year look through eyes of wonder

Young 2007 looks out to the horizon, captivated by the sun and sea. Cap'n says, "It's a good year, mates!" "A time for sailing and discovery!" :-)

Hey Loy! You don't know me, but I came across your blog when I googled MA Thomas, I was looking for some of his books. I worked at their orphanage in Chawla Village this summer. How do you know so much about them?? Have you been there before? Your blogs are amazing! I have truly enjoyed reading them.

Hi Liz,

During the ongoing crisis I received updates from some of the friends and family members -- and was just doing my part to spread the word and raise awareness. I've never been there, no! But my heart was gripped by the sacrifice -- on so many levels -- of those serving Christ faithfully. I've never met the Thomases personally, but I feel as if I know them, a bit, and truly admire them!

That's so neat that you were able to work at the Chawla Village orphanage this summer! If you've written about this, let me know and I'll link to your stories, ok?

Many blessings this New Year and have a great day!

Hey Loy! I'm so glad that you are spreading the word and raising awareness. I am a terrible writer, so I don't have any site with my stuff on there, but I went with a group called Adventures in Missions, and they post pictures and updates about what they are doing there. I was there over the summer, and my best friend was there last semester and is going back this semester, so they will be recent updates starting the beginning of Feb. The site is http://www.adventuresinmissions.org/a/reports/r2.asp?yr=2006&location=India
God Bless!

Thanks, Liz!

Actually, your link did come through on my end -- if this is the page you meant. Also this page with pictures.

I think it's so neat that you [and others] can go and share the love of Christ, one on one, with these orphans! God bless you so, so much for all this -- and I know He does, without question... but thank you!

And, thanks for your words and thoughts and wishes -- you are encouraging. :-) Great e-meeting you, and have a great night!

Hi Loy,
It's been a long time old friend.
I'm not sure if you'll get this; however, if you do please return a note.
I glad to see you're still in the ministry. Hope you're still singing.
