The heights for which Christ took hold of me
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me — everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength!

Rock climbing is one of the most amazing ways to see God's glorious creation! I have been several times with my friends. We live in the beautiful Appalachian mountains. I was climbing last week and was about 60 feet off the ground when I looked over and saw the sun setting behind the trees. It was amazing. God just blows me away, all the time, but especially when I see His beauty in nature.
Thanks, Liz! That is a neat picture: climbing high off the ground and seeing the sun behind the trees... the light and glory of seeing creation as the artwork of God, as a daughter of God!
